Channel 3 TV surprised us and they came to the PVO JR High to do a story on Mrs Anderson. It will be on at 5 p.m. tonight.

I am attending School Behavioral Threat Assessment workshop with Officer Maxey and SJO HS administration in Kankakee.

Tonight is the PTO meeting at 6 pm at North Elementary in Royal.

Lynda Duval is retiring as our South Elementary secretary, nurse, assistant principal, mom, and/or jack-of-all-trades. We are going to have an open house for her on Friday May 11, right after school until 6pm. We'd love it if you could stop in and say goodbye! We'll have some cake and punch available too. Please share this with any friend and co-worker to get the word out. After 25 years there's many former students/teachers/staff that have been touched by Lynda's kindness!

The Board of Education accepted with regrets Carolyn Fitch’s resignation as cook at South Elementary at the end of the 2017-18 school year! Mrs. Jennifer Anderson’ Memorial Service will be at 2 pm on Saturday, April 14 at 2:00 pm at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Royal. After the Memorial Service please stay for cake and cookies.

Mrs. Jennifer Klauda Anderson's Visitation will be 5-8 on Friday April 13th at Sunset Funeral Homes in Champaign, with a service celebrating her life on Saturday April 14th. The time of that service is yet to be determined, but will be at St. John's Lutheran Church in Royal, IL.

Track meet at Catlin today cancelled. ☔☔☔ No practice. Enjoy the day off.

I am sorry to inform you that Mrs. Jennifer Anderson passed away this AM. She was an outstanding Music teacher and jr high social studies teacher for PVO. We will send out a Blackboard message later with visitation details. Also, we have asked RCCSEC to have Social Worker(s) at the South Elementary and the Jr High tomorrow. Please put Chris and Jennifer’s families in your prayers.

Mrs Pierce and the South Kindergarten received their delivery today of curriculum games thanks to a grant from the Meemic Foundation.
